The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 7, 1907 ARTHUR THOMPSON died at Russell last Thursday of consumption. He was the oldest son of MARION THOMPSON and a few months ago was married to MISS NELLIE BOYD. A couple of weeks since, his paternal grandfather, C.C. THOMPSON, died and last week his maternal grandfather, BRYCE HINTON, passed away at Avery, in Monroe County. Word has also been received of the death of MRS. MINTA EASTMAN at Gothenberg, Nebraska, the fatal disease being consumption. She was a daughter of the late C.C. THOMPSON. Surely in that family the dark angel has been appeased. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 14, 1907 SOLOMAN EASTMAN, and daughter, MRS. F.A. HENDRICKSON, were called to Gothenburg, Neb., Friday by the death of MRS. VIRGIL EASTMAN, who died Thursday night, after a lingering illness with consumption. She will be remembered by a great many as MISS MINTA THOMPSON, daughter of COLUMBUS THOMPSON who died two weeks ago at Russell, from a paralytic stroke. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert November 29, 2004 iggy29@rnetinc.net http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
