In the 1880 Census of Jay county, Richland, twp. IN.
I found my Grandfather William Henry Brown, age 09, in the relationship it says, Took to raise. In the home of
Thomas F.(Frank) Bryant age 50, and his wife Catherine age 25.
In the 1900 census, Jay County, Richland Twp. My Grandfather was listed in the home of Catherine Bryant,
under the name of William Henry Bryant, with his wife Margaret (Clawson) Bryant and thier son Glen O. Bryant.
Does anyone out there have a William Henry Brown b 1868,
that just droped off this earth?
I was off track for 5 years with a bad lead from my Aunt,
I now know for sure that he was a Brown, I still have not found when he took the name of Bryant, it would be after the 1880 census, and before the 1900 census, there is no 1890 census, no birth records so far, no court records so far.
