It will be interesting now to see if anyone has actual documentation that names Rachael Taylor as nee Rachel Hittle.
It won't surprise me to find that someone does, but to this point I haven't found it.
On the other hand, with that being the family legend of Taylor gedcoms, and with George Michael Hittle Jr.'s will naming his daughter Rachel as intermarried with John Taylor, and with the census records lending themselves to support the possibility, we're not to far off from being able to believe that this is indeed quite likely to be the John and Rachael Taylor that we're looking for.
Still looking for confirmation of the facts of the situation though.
