I am researching John H Jackman, my great grandfather. He was born in Indiana about 1856. Married Margaret Stansberry 24 Dec 1879 at the home of George Stansberry in Lick Creek Van Buren county Iowa. They had four children:
George Rolland Jackman b Dec 1880 Iowa (My grandfather)
James Bernard - "Jim B" Jackman b Dec 1882 Iowa
Lois L Jackman b 1886 Iowa
Clayton C - "Alfred C" Jackman b Mar 1889 Iowa
I am looking for the exact date of birth to identify John's parents. Help with and of the family would be greatly appreciated.
