Looking for any information on John Cludray (also spelled Cludrey, Cluderay, Cludeary, Cludery, Cludary) who married Martha Campbell 15 September 1845 in Hanover, Jefferson co., Indiana. He came from England and was born in about 1811. I find them in the 1850 census in Cincinnati, Ohio which lists their children Joanna (who married Orlando B. Holmes) and Richard. It took me 20 years to find them in this census because the indexers observed the surname as 'Cherderag'.
I have found that John was naturalized in Indiana (I am assuming in Jefferson co.) but been able to look for the record in the courthouse.
It sure would be appreciated if someone would look up the information for me as I live about 2000 miles away.
ANY other information on John Cludray would also be appreciated. Thanks.
