Am looking for descendants of Jonathan Phillips(b. abt 1818 in KY)amd Elizabeth Nation Phillips(b. abt 1815 in KY). They had children of Seymour b. abt 1840, Charlotte b. abt 1842, Mary Belle b. abt 1846, Elizabeth b. abt 1848 and Jonathan b. abt 1852. The famiy moved to Jennings County, IN in about 1848, are in census of 1850 and 1860 in Geneva Township, but then disappear. The parents were illiterate and Seymour was idiotic.
The "senior" Jonathan, was oldest sibling of William b. 1821, Mary b. 1827, Sarah b. 1830, Nancy b. 1835, Jonas b. 1839 and Joseph b. 1842. Mary's husband was Jesse Nation thought to be a brother of Jonathan's wife, Elizabeth Nation. I have further informaton of all the siblings, but lack further information about Jonathan.
