Schuyler C. and Kate Frederick, 1900 Knox County

I am trying to determine what happened to this Frederick family. On the 1900 census at Vincennes, Schuyler C. Frederick, wife Kate, Schuyler's son Adam from a previous marriage, and Schuyler's parents, Adam and Mary "Polly" were in one household. Adam the father and Adam the son died in 1900 and 1902 respectively. Given Mary's age, I am assuming she had died before 1910 since she is not found on a census. But what about Schuyler C. and Kate? Nothing further found on them either, not on a 1910 census, no later marriages. Did this whole family perish between 1900-10? Does anyone have a clue about this little Frederick family?

Also seeking identity of Kate Frederick's mother's name. Marriage abstract gives her father as Nathan Bevens (Bevins) but transcription of her mother's name is a bunch of letters that mean nothing. Who was Katie's mother?

Thank you
