Hetzel John was born in Oberamt, Germany, March 10, 1824, and came to America in 1851. He located in Rose Valley, Wayne County, New York. Just before embarking he was married to Caroline Bender. They had 6 children, 3 of whom are living. He enlisted as a soldier at Detroit, Mich. in the 12th Michigan Infantry, Co. G, in 1861 and was honorably discharged and returned to his home on March 7, 1865. He united with the Evangelical Association. He died March 11, 1897.

Looking for any info on his parents and/or siblings he might of had, and any ancestors or descendants that there might be. Any help would be appreciated.
