The date 10/21/1839 is correct. I verified it today through a marriage
record book in LaGrange. The birth date of Zopher Case is probably
wrong. I would suggest, without looking at the marker, that he was
born in 1816 and not 1846. I believe the stone was either mis-read
or the 'old scrolling' confused the 1 with a 4.
