John ADAMS, Asa ADAMS, Harriet ROOT

I would appreciate any info on John ADAMS, an early settler of Elkhart and Lagrange counties. He appears in the 1830 census next to an Asa ADAMS, who may be his son.

I have an Asa ADAMS born 1807 in NY who lived in Monroe, MI and moved to LaGrange, IN about this time.

Asa then moved on to Muscatine, IA. Before that, though, his wife Delia Harriett Root died in IN around 1835.
