I'm seeking help in the identification of the folks pictured in the photo image in the web address below and the event it commemorated. I submitted the photo to the ~inlake web site. It was among the items left at my mother's home in Whiting at the time of her passing.

There's no date, but the photo was possibly taken in the 1920's or '30's. Its cardboard frame specifies Whiting Photo Studios, 532 Indiana Blvd., Whiting.
