McQuere, Rev. Kennth
Rev. Kenneth G. McQuere Valparaiso / Crown Point Rev. Kenneth G. McQuere, 86, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Porter Hospital, Portage. He had been a Valparaiso resident since 1995, coming from Crown Point. He was born September 21, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ to William and Anna Marie (Behrendt) McQuere and graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1943. He had been a minister for over forty years, serving the congregations of First Baptist Church in Hammond, First Baptist Church in Hobart, McCoy Memorial Baptist Church in Elkhart, Harvard Avenue Bible Church in Villa Park, IL and Riverview Church in Russell, OH. He was most recently a member of the Liberty Bible Church. In 1944 he married Thelma Lehmann, who preceded him in death in 1992. Rev. McQuere is survived by three children, Janice McQuere of Valparaiso, Carol (John) Kepler of Jamestown, NY and Gordon (Melanie) McQuere of Topeka, KS; one brother, James McQuere of North Carolina; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Liberty Bible Church, the Rev. Bill Jones officiating with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4 to 6 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN, and on Saturday morning one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Liberty Bible Church.
