My grandfather, Joseph Louis KERTESZ, was one of the oldest members of the GPD. He joined the force, circa 1908 and was on until he retired due to health reasons in Jan, 1922. If I run across any info, I will pass it along. Also, a Joe ZELLER was a GPD officer from the late 40's to late 60's. His partner, an ELSNER, was my grandfather's partner's son.

I have been unable to contact Joe recently. His emails haven't been bounced back, but he hasn't responded. If he does, I will see if he has any recollections for you.
