CHARLES WEST PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I am looking for any information on Charles West. He was born in 1868 in Sawyer Michigan but moved to LaPorte and I can't find anything on him. He married Sarah Emma Lake in LaPorte on 8-18-1897. The 1920 census for Three Oaks says Sarah was divorced and the 1930 says she was widowed. I know they were estranged not too long after they were married. Any one with any information would be most helppful
