I am researching the Laing Family who lived in Laporte.
William James Laing, Verna and two daughters were living in Laporte around the early 1940's.
James I think was also called "Jim". He died on the 6th of December 1941. I know it was in Northern Indiana, but not the specific place. His daughter, June Marie, seems to think it may have been East Chicago, or close to Laporte. Jim was killed in a car wreck, or died from injuries from a car wreck. Could someone be kind enough to check the local paper for that time and see if you can find a obituary on him.
William James "Jim" Laing, Born March 3, 1888, died 6th of December 1941. He was survived by Wife, Verna, and two daughters, June Marie, and Bonnie Jean.
