As a hobby, I rescue old photos that have identification on them.
I recently obtained five photos,all of females, each with the last name of LIND.
Three appear to be of twins, or really close in age sisters. Two of the photos, are of each girl alone. One is identified as Nora LIND and the other one is Emma (Ema) LIND. The then third one in this part of the group, the girls are together, Nora and Emma Lind.
The fourth photo is a Cassie Lind. She's heavier, than either Nora or Emma. Written on the back of this one (besides a child's scribble) is: "leaves to night meet me Cassie Lind. Joseph Montgomery 3512 Wallace St. Phila."
The last photo is a lady, seated in a rocking chair with a black cocker spaniel sitting on her lap. She's identified as Jeny (Jenny/Jennie?) Lind.
They all came to me from the same auction. I'm assuming La Porte was in Indiana, although there is a La Porte, Colorado. The auction was in Florida.
