I am looking for information about Welcome GARRETT who was born on 27 Jan 1846 in Indiana. Welcome's first wife was Margaret GIFT whonm he married in Aug 1869. They were the parents of three children - Frank, Alonzo (who died before his first birthday, and Luther. Margaret died - date unknown.
Welcome's second wife was a widow, Melinda ALSPACH BUGH. Melinda's first husband was James Albert Bugh whom she married in 1873 in Huntington Co, IN. They moved to Illinois, and after James died, Melinda returned to Indiana. She may have lived in Grant County after her return with her daughter Arminta. She then married Welcome GARRET (date of marriage unknown - although it was after 1900). Welcome and Melinda lived on a farm in Van Buren Twp, Madison County. I have also read that Welcome's farm was near Summitsville.
I am looking for additional information about Welcome's birth and parents. And I need death dates for both Welcome and his second wife Melinda.
