George Gardner and wife of Madison , Indiana are visiting friends here for a few days. George is a survivor of Andersonville Prison, and lost his voice years ago in consequence of the privations he endured there. His toes have dropped off in sonsequence of his being afflicted with scurvy, and one foot is without sensation to the ankle. He requires constant attention and draws a pension of $24. when he is entitled to $72.
