I'm looking for info on the parents & siblings of Nancy Brown, b. 1800/1810, Virginia. On 18 Aug 1825, Nancy married John Jones (b. 27 Oct 1796, Culpepper Co, VA) in Greenbrier Co, VA. They came to Huntsville, Madison Co, Indiana about 1838. Children of Nancy & John: James Harvey Jones, b. 1826/27, VA; Henry Alexander Jones, b. 1830, VA; Charles Jones, b. 1832, VA; Mary Jones, b. 1833, VA; Madison Jones, b 1835, VA; Samuel Jones, b. 1837, VA; Philip Jones, 1840, Indiana. I have records showing John Jones purchased land in Fall Creek Twp, Madison Co, Ind. in 1835 & there are quite a few Brown families that owned land around them--Martin Brown, Lorenzo Brown, but I have no idea if these families are related. Nancy & John both died in Madison Co & are buried in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Any info that might help me identify Nancy Brown Jones' birth family will be greatly appreciated.
