I am looking so hard for my Great grandfathers,James Allen Hanson's parents.My g grandfather married Sarah Haddix in Illinois.I have checked other sites and almost everyone i checked say that James was born in Ill.but on the census it says Indiana.They also say that his Father was named Samuel and that he was born in Ohio.James and Sarah lived in Cook and Clark co. Illinois.He died in 1877 and Sarah married a Joseph Wallace and they were living in Kansas when they died.My Father told me that after Sarah died that Joe was put into the asylum and that while he was in there he killed a man.The Samuel was supposed to be married to a woman by the name of Edna.The only Samuel's i have found came from Pa and WV.Does anyone have any information that concerns any of this?
