I'm at work & don't have info with me but the Poshards are in Ohio 1850 as BUSHAW. I think that is how it's misspelled. Charles John's & Mary E's families are in Ohio & Ind thru the 1880 census just not always spelled correctly. If you send me your email address I can email you all the census and children's information. Unfortunately b/c they married 1st & 2nd cousins when that was forbidden even then by the Church and b/c some babies were born less than 9 months after a marriage, some of the information I've found is not correct. That is why I would like to find another Poshard researcher to compare notes and documents with. Thank you for what you have posted.

I'm not sure about that Charles Poshard in the insane asylum on the 1920 Dixon, IL census.
