(only Floyd that fit, however this one is married to a May Gertrude McKenney. He was a newspaper reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle.)
1880 census:
I checked out the other McKenney's that were married about the same time as Floyd (Posey County), shown above. Because I was having a difficult time placing Floyd on the 1880 census, I thought that maybe these others might have been some relation to him.
What I found on this census is a number of McKenney's in Spencer County IN, all children residing in various homes, including a
