My great grandmother was Ida Thompson... Well, I guess her full name would be Ida Thompson Gammon James Edwards. I assume other people are researching her because she must be connected to so many different lines.
She was born Ida Florence Thompson on August 24, 1871, in Orange County, Indiana. Her parents were John T. and Frances Jones.
Her first marriage was to Edward E. Gammon. They married on July 11, 1892 in Martin County, Indiana. They had two children - Maude and Lily.
Her second marriage was to William T. James. They married on July 17, 1898 also in Martin County, Indiana. They had four children - Mary, Jesse, Frank, and Charles.
Her third marriage was to my great grandfather - Garfield Molene Edwards. They married in 1913 and had one child - My grandmother Annis.
She died November 16, 1944 in Washington, Daviess County, Indiana. I have much more information including a copy of the obituary (which is seriously flawed).
