Ide and family who lived in Howard County (New London/Monroe Twp, I believe) at the time of the 1850 Census. Particularly on Reuben P. and his wife Pheba. They had a son, also named Reuben P. who married Sarah Gifford in 1849 in Howard County. I can find no further records on Reuben and Pheba. There was no Howard County census data prior to 1850 so I don't even know when they arrived (Reuben P. the younger was born in New York around 1820 so I assume they moved from New York sometime between 1820 and 1849.) They seem to disappear from all records before 1850... so frustrating! Notify Administrator about this message?
