NO Relation, and I'm not going to be much help..

Alpheus recieved a pension for his military service. Do you have a copy of his pension file? Many times they will name parents, siblings, and other relatives.

Any idea where in Ohio this family was? I could check earlier census to see what names I come up with. I did look in 1840 and Lydia was not shown as head of household at that time.
