This family is in Noble Co., IN-Elkhart in 1880 and all children younger than Kate in above 1870 census are still living at home as well as Alice age 9.

1880 census Noble Co., IN has Edward Summers-34 and Catherine-26 with John-6 and Willie-9/12 b. August

After this Catherine is living in Steuben Co., IN for 1900 and 1910 census. (not mentioned in your posting)
