Thomas Wakefield did not die in Dec 18, 1878. He did die in 1866.
Thomas Wakefield born in 1793 and married to Elizabeth Haymaker as shown in the Wakefield memorial. I shall not yack abt his Scott Co. IA. sec. marriage (to Eliza Warren in 1854.)
Thomas of (Thomas b 1757) is shown with 2 boys in the 1830 fed census rec. Wheatfield, Indiana Co., PA. The 2 boys = James M Wakefield b. abt. 1813 and Samuel M Wakefield born about 1823. We descend from Samuel M Wakefield born about 1823 who married Susanna L. Bower in 11-16-1846 in rock Island city and county. ILL.

The LDS micro filmed “Book of Wakefield.” Said Thomas Wakefield that was born in PA. in 1793. Died in “Dec. 18, 1878” THIS IS NOT TRUE. Don’t get in to this record miss-information hand out. Thomas Wakefields year of death was 1866.
My Thomas Wakefield has a gravestone with the day month and year for birth and death. My Thomas Wakefield is shown in the 1860 federal census records. However Thomas Wakefield doesn’t show in the 1870 federal census records any were as a Thomas Wakefield that was born in PA. in 1793.
The 1830 federal census so neatly has called him Thos of Thos Wakefield. The Wakefield memorial has described Thomas Wakefield as born in 1793 and he married Elizabeth Haymaker.
