Hi, I am looking for information about both my great grandparents. I would like information about their parents & anything that would help me with this brick wall I have been fighting for the last 20 years. Here is what I know. Mary Angeline Carson Born 1839 in Franklin County, Indiana (I think her parents were Abner & Abigail Freeman Carson) married William Whetzel born in 1826 in PA.(who had been married before and had a 7 year old boy) 16 Dec 1863 in Franklin Co. Indiana. Later they moved to Taney Co. Missouri for a while then on to Labette County, Kansas where they owned an 80 acre plot of land and evenutally had 7 children, mostly boys. One girl Carolina died at a young age. My grandfather was Lewis Whetzel & he married Ida Mae Nickerson. They lived in Kansas all their lives.Angeline went to live with her daughter Julia who was married to a Folglesong who worked for the railroad and they lived several places, OK. Neb. and ended up in Oregon which is where Angline died. Unknown place of burial, think possibly brought back to Kansas and buried with her husband William.

If anyone can help me with this I would be very appreciative.

Tom A. (Whetzel) McDaniel
