Does anyone have a list of the families who traveled in the first wagon train to cross the Cascade Mountains to Tacoma area, Fort Stielcoom, in 1853, James Longmire, captain, leaving IN by steamboat, and then by wagon from St. Joseph, MO. We are looking for documentation of our ancestors, Thomas WRIGHT and his wife Anne LIGHT of Owen County,IN.
