Collin's Chapel, a Methodist church for Africian American residents of the area, once stood in the very north part of Boone Township, Harrison County, Indiana-in the northeast quarter of Section 6, Township 5 South, Range 4 East. About 1/2 mile south of this church was also a one room school for the Africian Americans of the area.
No doubt there are many unmarked graves in this cemetery, only the graves of ten could be located when Frederick P. Griffin copied this cemetery on January 17, 1971. Later, it was told that several more names were added.
