Sarah Ann Gresham married Daniel Henry Hartley in Washington County Indiana. When applying for Daniel's Civil War pension after his death, a Charles Blackwell states on her application that Sarah Ann had an illigitimate child born at his home on Dec. 27, 1888. I would like info on this child and who the father was and what could have possibly happen to this child.
