Looking for Lewis info on John Jackson Lewis, b about 1818 in NC, married to Nancy, b 1820 ? NC, moved into Parke Co Indiana (listed in 1850 census w/ 3 children. Trying to find their parents to determine if Nancy was of Native American Heritage as handed down thru family history. One child, Mary Lewis married a Hobson, they had several children, one of whom, Nancy Artimicia Hobson, was my ggrandmother.
