Hazel,
At this time I have only traced back to my John R. Hendrickson, born in 1827 in Indiana. In the 1850 census of Vermillion Co., he is living next door to a James Hendrixon, 25 yrs, who married Lucinda Redman. My John R. later moved to Parke Co., and died there in 1890. I have not uncovered any of his siblings or parents yet. I too am at a dead end.
