I am looking for the of the cemetery where Harrison R. Painter is buried in Parke County. Harrison was listed on the property tax listing in 1851. Harrison and his family is listed in the 1850 census for Parke County. He died sometime in the 1850's in Parke County. His wife was Elizabeth (Davis) Painter. She remarried in the 1850's. Their son Jackson Painter was raised by another person on his farm. He was their youngest child. The other children in the family were Washington Newton Painter, William Wayne Painter, Lancaster Painter, James Riley Painter, Mary Ann Painter.
I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth (Davis) Painter. I think it could be possibly Wayne Davis of Parke County. Harrison and Elizabeth were married October 9, 1834, Parke County, Indiana.
