Do you have a Adam Hendrickson in your line?
Adam was born in Monroe Co., Indiana about 1834.
I am researching my Wood family. Adam Hendrickson married Elizabeth Wood in DeWitt Co., Illiois 11 Mar 1854. My 2nd great-grandfather, Isaac Wood was living in DeWitt County at the same time. Isaac was Elizabeth's brother. Then in 1860 Adam and Elizabeth are living in Vigo Co., Indiana with George D. Wood. George is recently widowed and it seems Adam and Elizabeth are there to help out. George was also a brother to Elizabeth. In 1870 Adam and Elizabeth are living in Vermillion Co., Indiana. Then by 1880 Adam has remarried to a Sarah Patton in Vigo Co., IN. They were married 10 Jan 1875. Adam dies in Vigo County 20 Mar 1882 at age 48. I don't know whatever happened to Elizabeth.
Sorry that this is so lengthy but I wanted to give you some background in case any of it sounds familiar.
