Am attempting to help my daughter-in-law trace her family. Her great-grandfather Jesse Ellis McCarty born 21 Feb. 1888 in Velpen, Marion Twp., Pike Co., IN on his mar. license application in 1917 states his parents were Francis McCarty and Mary Davison who lived in Velpen. Not certain but think this Francis McCarty was the same as Francis Marion McCarty the son of William McCarty and Eliza Bullock. Need to find out who Mary Davison McCarty's parents were. Hoping to make contact with anyone out of these lines. Thanks, Mary tmlein@fullnet.com
