Regarding my paternal grandmother, Sarah Melvina Bruce, born in Marysville, Pike, IN on 28 Aug 1859. Her parents were Joshua H. Bruce and Sarah Elizabeth LaFollette. They moved to Stearns Co. Minnesota when she was still pre-school age.

Are there any records of births in Marysville or Pike County, IN for 1859?

Also, is there a list of settlers in the late 1850's in Marysville? Her great-grandfather, William Bruce, was the founder of Bruceville, Knox, Indiana.
