My great-great Grandfather was Frank Allen Kern also known as Franklin Alvin Kern he filled out a WWI draft card and I want to know if he really served and I was told that after the war that was a question they asked when they took a census. this is what it says on his draft card.

age 27 born Griffin IN (Posey Co)
