Phineas Preston was living with John Ford according to the 1850 census for Randolph County,IN.
I have Preston ancestors who lived in nearby Delaware County, IN. They came from Ohio.
One of the Ohio relatives married a Willim Ford.
The name "Phineas" was used in several of the Preston families.
I was wondering if this is an indication that they were related to those who lived in Randolph County, IN.
