I later learned that Phineas Preston was living with John WOOD and his wife in Monroe Township, Randolph County, IN, in 1850.
John Wood married Louisa Preston in Delaware County, IN on February 24, 1850. C2-404
"Lodiga Wood, wife of John Wood, died on February 23, 1853, at age 31 years, seven months, & two days."
She is buried at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Delaware County, IN. John's wife has also been seen listed as Lodiss & Lodica Preston.
No matter how they spelled it, I still need to locate the name of her parents.
