I am the granddaughter of Charles J. Caron - eldest son of John Caron and Lydia Romizer. I do not have the parents of John, but I do have the parents of Lydia. I also have her siblings.
Lydia's father was Andrew Romizer. He was born ca. 1807 in Germany and died ca. 1851 presumably in Indiana. Lydia's mother was Elizabeth (last name unknown). The children were: Mary, Lucinda, John, Lydia, Elizabeth, George W., and Zachary Taylor. 1850 Randolph Co. (Winchester), IN Census page 88b. On Oct 7, 1852, Elizabeth Romizer, widow of Andrew, married Joseph Martin (his 3rd wife). They had three children: Patrick, Eliza and Emma.
John Caron and Lydia Romizer has the following children: Charles J., Peter, ??Marie??, Lizzie, Johnnie, Edward, Mary, and unknown child. The 1900 census states that Lydia was the mother of 8 children/5 living (who I believe to be Charles, Peter, John, Edward and Mary.)
