Bear/bahr
Ripley co in
Peter Bahr/Bear was born circa 1831 in France to Francis Peter and Christine Bear. He entered the Castle Garden Port on 11 Sep 1847 at the age of 15 on the ship Probus.
In 1850, he and his family were living in Shelby, Ripley, IN.
In 1880, he was still living in Shelby and was married to Victoria, born 1837 in Baden. His parents were also living with them.
The children of Peter and Victoria:
Barbara Bicka, born 1864 IN, parents born France
Mary Bicka, 1868 IN, parents born France
Catherine Federle, 1871 IN, father born Baden, mother born IN
George Federle, 1875 In, father born Baden, mother born IN
In the 1900-30 census, I did not find the family in Ripley County. In 1900, there is a George B., age 24, in Pleasant Township, La Porte County, IN, but I cannot verify that this is indeed him.
I would greatly appreciate any information on the family after 1880.
