I have a Matilda Jane MORELAND, b. abt 1830 Indiana, probably Ripley or Dearborn County, married Robert ROWND in Ripley County abt 27 Sep 1848. In 1850 they are in Delaware, Ripley County, Indiana. They moved to Highland Twp, Washington County, Iowa, abt 1854, and eventually on to Red Cloud, Nebraska, by 1880.

One of Robert's sisters was named Zilpha (b. 1831 in Maryland), which I always assumed was for a grandmother, Zilpha NOBLE. I don't suppose you know the maidenname of your Zilpha Moreland Pease?
