According to one researcher at rootsweb.com, Blaney Palmer, Jr., died without children. Blaney Palmer information found in newspapers. Perhaps there was more than one Blaney Palmer. familysearch.org also lists Flora B. Hess m. Blaney Palmer.

Dora Alice Palmer was granted a divorce from Blaney Palmer, on the ground of desertion. He started for work ostensibly, on May 14, 1925, and never returned. It developed in the hearing that she was his seventh wife.

Blaney Palmer
Funeral Sunday
The funeral of Blaney Palmer,
whose death occurred Saturday at
the home of his niece, Mrs, Millie
Culp, 1205 East Fifth street, was held
at 2:30 p.m. today from the Streeper
funeral home. The Rev. N. O, Henderson
of the Main Street Methodist
Church Conducted the service. Burial
was in Oakwood cemetery.
The pallbearers were Julius O.
Vaunn, Louis Bell, Leonard Voltz,
Emil Schrimpf, Alois Langnecker and
Doran Rice.
Mr. Palmer was born and reared In
Osgood, Ind., where he spent the
greater part of his life. A short time
ago he came to Alton to make his
home so that he might be nearer his
sister, Mrs. Sherman Connerly.
Besides Mrs. Connerly, he is survived
by one other sister, Mrs. Mary
Brown of Miami, Okla,, and several
nieces and nephews.
