HENRY is my husband Rodney's, G-G-Grandfather by way of JOHN Henry Mosier.(John was born after Henry left for the war.)
John married Martha Ann Kessler and had 5 children. She died in 1906. He remarried (I can't recall her name.) Then the children moved on to other areas. Edna married Willie Dubree and Ada married Bethel Billingsly. Oma, Oakley, and Welby moved to central IL and stayed here. Dewey died young, and is buried with John and Martha.
Welby is Rod's grandfather. We currently farm the land that Welby and Alta Jacobs Mosier bought. (Henry Mosier> John Henry Mosier> Welby Henry Mosier> Albert Rex Mosier> Rodney Rex Mosier)
Henry's wife, Sarah Bowman Mosier, died in 1908. Her tombstone has MOSER on it, not Mosier. Why? Do you know where Henry is buried? I'd love to exchange any information on the family. Most of the family history I have came from Alta's notes. She interviewed Edna Dubree in 1939. Alta typed her family history notes for her children. She was a treasure!
