James Ingels (married to Ruth Harmer) was the fourth child of John and Susannah Ingels who emigrated from Edinburgh, Scotland, to Philadelphia in the early 1700s.

I am a direct descendant of James's son, James, Jr., as follows:

James, Jr.'s son Thomas:
Thomas's son James Victor:
James Victor's son Jacob E.:
Jacob E.'s son Jacob Girard:
Jacob Girard's son J. Girard who was my father.

I would be happy to share with any member of the family a genealogy that was passed on to me and would appreciate any information about the family that others may have.
