hi yes
this info is from dr. lyod Ingels' book and from the mother doughter team he metiones in that book. it has been 20 years sence i read it so i may make a few mistakes but a little infoi is better than no infor use it as a starting place.
the name ingels in my family live starts around 1100 in scotland , when the bastard, william came thew he gave a lot of land in scotland to his family i guess it was better to have ppl close to you farther out so they could watch what was going on in the fronter. anyway the local called them inglish this eveled in to ingels.
as for belguim i don't know but would emagine a simulare origin as far as it coming from a group of english men settleing in that area unless you family is a trasplant from scotland i dought the names have the same originbut the reson the names or the same my be the same reson
i hope this will help

yours truely

Richard M. Ingels
