Hi, Ralph:

In spite of the middle initial typo, the following little item is about your grandfather, isn't it? The AP probably picked it up from a longer article in a Humboldt paper.

BTW: What on what day did he die?

"The Nebraska State Journal" [Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE], Tuesday, 3 Jun 1941:

Funeral services for
A. S. Ingels, Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Neb. [AP] Funeral services will be held here Tuesday for Anson S. Ingels, 72, who died from a fractured skull suffered in a fall from a hay wagon. His son and three daughters survive.
