I have a .-gr.-gr-gr.- Grandfather, De Witt Clinton Ingles who came to Oregon with his family in 1845, His second son, Benjamin Reno Ingles was my gr.gr.gr. Grandfather. B.R. Ingles son was Benjamin Lewis Ingles was my Grandfather. Lester Earl Ingles was the son of BL Ingles. I am the daughter of Lester Earl Ingles. They all were born lived, and died in Oregon. I think I got my greats out of place here but I have all of this documented. I always wondered if there was a connection to the DeWitt Clinton R.R. I have D.C.Ingles as having been born in Duchess County N.Y. I have very little on them before coming to Ore. I own a book with the story of the Lost Meeks Party of 1845 - that they were a member of. Do you think we have a connection here? I have marriage records and all sorts of info.
