John, I am interested in your middle name, Johnstone. The teacher of my Inglis/Carlyle ancestors was John Johnstone, and one of them crafted a monument to this teacher in the Ecclefechan Churchyard, Dumfieshire, Scotland.

What is the origin of your middle name?

I appreciate your time.
